My cousin Becky phoned me one day to announce that she had just decided to take part in driving instructor courses. I was rather surprised when she told me the news because Becky was not really a good driver and, what"s even more important, I had never imagined her as a teacher or an instructor. She lacked self-confidence and she was not a quick decision maker. Of course, I did not criticise her idea. I just asked her if she was really sure of her decision. Being a driving instructor can be very demanding and it requires a lot of patience and self-determination. But I must say that I have changed my mind. Now I think that Becky is really a determined person and that she can achieve almost everything if she only tries hard. First of all, she became a better driver. In the past, she was rather reluctant to sit behind he wheel. It was her husband who was driving, as she was sitting in the passenger"s seat. Now it"s the other way round, which makes her husband angry sometimes. driving instructor courses also made Becky much more confident. I guess that she simply had to become a strict teacher and learn to demand a lot when she started her teacher training. Becky has just started working as a driving instructor for one of the best driving schools in our city. I"m really proud of her and I believe that she will soon become one of the most popular instructors.
