Nursery furniture designers
We were sitting at our favourite restaurant, having lunch. I had not seen Fanny for over two years. She had been working for a company that specialised in designing nursery furniture in Berlin. She had already become an experienced furniture designer. So we were having dinner and Fanny kept on telling bout her life and work in Germany. She had started the job in January two years before, thanks to one of her cousins, the founder of the company. Fanny had been previously working for a manufacturer of baby accessories in her hometown, and they had also designed some baby beds and furniture sets for toddlers. She had really wanted to start designing furniture, but she hadn"t had time for studies. That was when her cousin offered her some training in Berlin. Fanny left the country and in less than a couple of months, she learned all safety tips that should be taken into account when designing nursery furniture. She also learned a lot about materials used in designing baby cribs. Actually, the company specialised in that, so most of her work was connected with making new baby beds. I asked Fanny if she was going to move back to her hometown. Well, she was, but only if she could open her own business here.
